We went to the beach this week. It was nice. The house's deck ended just a few feet from the ocean, and all the bedroom windows faced the water. Even little Jackson had a personal room, which didn't quite count as a bedroom since it only had 20 square feet of floor space. It was perfect for a little bed, and his little potty.
Jackson is nearly potty trained. He doesn't like to make his Thomas underwear sad by having any accidents while wearing it. The trip didn't hurt the potty training too much. We still have a few hurdles to cross, but I think this kid has a chance of using the potty. Crowded public restrooms are a major obstacle and simply might be too much to overcome. I understand that.
Lettie and Patrick did fine at the beach as well. They both just sat around.
